Incorporated in 1993, UK Software specialises in Records Management Solutions using Barcode & RFID technology.

Steady growth has been achieved since incorporation and much of the product development has been achieved by working closely with our Clients in the same way as a 'User Group'.

The Kent Innovation Centre has a prime location in East Kent

The office has on-site parking and good access to London (A299) and Europe (Euro Tunnel from Folkestone & Ashford and ferry crossing from Dover). The centre is a short taxi ride from Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate railway stations with its frequent high-speed services to the UK’s main railway network, notably London King’s Cross/St Pancras (90 minutes).

  • With over 25 years’ experience of software development under his belt, Mark co-wrote and developed TranSearch after a request from an acquaintance from the Inland Revenue for a robust and secure product which could track and trace taxpayers’ documents. Six months later, TranSearch Version 1.0 was born!

    Demand for the product came thick and fast following the launch into the Inland Revenue 33 years ago and UK Software Ltd now counts most of the large accounting companies, 30% of the UK police force, property management companies and large pharmaceutical companies amongst its trusted customers.

    “As our business has grown, our product has developed over time to adapt to our customers’ changing needs. Our clients across both government and private industries tell us it is now one of the most flexible systems on the market, with a multitude of add-ons and the ability to interface to a number of external interfaces, both standard (such as O’Neills) and customer-specific internal interfaces.   • With over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology, Andy has worked in a variety of roles and companies both large and small before coming to UK Software Ltd in 2003.

    Originally from Merseyside his sense of humour is a hit with both his team at UKS and our customers alike.

    Andy’s motto is “Listen first and don’t make promises you can’t deliver.” Customers value his down-to-earth approach, his integrity and his ability to translate “techie language” for business users at any level.
